Horse-riding farm

Ramseier stable lies between Munster and Osnabruck in Ibbenbüren-Dörenthe to the south of the Teutoburg Forest, in the centre of the German north-western equine breeding of Westphalia, Oldenburg, and Hannover.

Top-flight tournament events are concentrated in the region. In a radius of below 50 kilometres are to be found the famous horse riding and combined driving championships of Riesenbeck, the “tournament of the winners” in Munster, the legendary international horse-riding events of Hagen a.t.W. (am Teutoburger Wald), the dressage tournaments of Ankum as well as the annual federal championships Warendorf and many other regional tournaments.

The Netherlands are our European neighbours and trading partners at just 40 kilometres’ distance.

In a three-year refurbishment period, Daniel Ramseier has created a state-of-the-art horse-riding farm and a uniquely beautiful environment.

Light, friendly, and well tended, the sports facilities invite to training.

Flooded with light, with the proportions of 21 by 61 metres, the indoor riding arena forms the centre. Through full air-conditioning, it offers the highest comfort while training. The insulating roof provides pleasant coolness in high summer, and in winter the arena is heatable.

The landscape park with its spacious track and extensive, well-prepared bridle paths offers relaxing options for training and riding out.

The stable was designed with 28 very spacious boxes in order to fulfil the horses’ needs. All of them possess external windows, either with view into the park or to the lake, or with adjacent paddocks for free exercise directly out of the box.

Outside, grass pastures as well as an Aqua spa provide health and welfare of the four-legged inhabitants.
